Its been a weird day.
Some very simple gestures can be incredibly pleasing.
Sadly, such considerate species are hardly seen anymore.
There were few occasions where I was waiting to be the last to alight at the bus interchange..
And its really nice that a perfect stranger can wait behind, standing, asking you to alight first, even when you haven't stood up to show you wanted to leave. It hasn't happen just once or twice. But I'm sure I can count with one hand the number of times I experienced such gentlemaness. And hell, the last kind stranger who did that was really young, probably still studying in secondary school. But I'm appreciating it as much as I can now, because times like this? Don't know why I feel so sure but, it's not going to happen in future.
I think sometimes the most pleasant things feel pleasant when you never asked for or expected it.
Although you don't exactly remember the face of the person, but, it sort of reassures you that at least there are considerate people around. it tells a lot about them.
When I entered RDI in Jan, there were 10 people in class.
By the second term, there were 8, by the end of third, 7, and this term, as of today, 5 (becos one in India for valid reasons), and as of next term, there will officially be 5 of us as a class (cos the one in india will take on a special schedule), and something's telling me, the numbers will actually keep dropping. Oh btw, there are only 4 of us attending class today. Hahaha. And I happen to be the only one of 3 people who attended the lesson in my group. Why?
Hahah. I feel abandoned. In fact, the one in India was supposed to be in my group. THERE WERE SUPPOSED TO BE 4 OF US. HAHA. Sometimes, life's a joke.
Check out the packaging design I did. Not the final yet. But, I think so far my lecturer's pleased and my aunt got really shocked when she knew I was the one who designed it. Should have seen her reaction. Comical. Its not fantastic fantastic.. but.. I'd like to put it on the shelf and see if people would actually reach out for it.

Anyway, have you ever wondered, if organic food was actually called or named organic before pesticides, herbicides and insecticides were introduced to crops?
If you think about it.. it was organic.. but no one named it organic because all crops were just made like that without pest prevention methods previously, right?
And retro, vintage.. these words. Were the 40s or 50ss style named retro then? Or was retro a word created just in recent years?
Hmmm.. But seriously, who just decided, oh, you know we should name it something.. hmm let me think about it for a sec.. hey, what about.. retro! :|
I have absolutely no feud with retro or am against anything related to retro or vintage or organic. Hahaha. Its one of those passing thoughts you need to get it out of your head.

Haha. I like first week of school. The most relaxed time of the academic term.
You kind of get out of the house for a little while, walk pass a lot of strangers, stare at them while on the train and walk down liang seah st where heavenly deserts are created and you look out for rushing traffic, walk up some stairs to class and get seated..
Sometimes it reminds me of an opening of a movie.. you know..
the ones where the lead wakes up and puts on their coat, gets honked while squeezing between cars to get to the other side of the road and rushes to get a cup of coffee and cuts the lift door just in time, and ends up not being late for work.
Hahaha. Classic.
After a week's long of recuperation, I'm finally feeling a lot better. At least the cough has gotten much less severe.. Kudos to yucky chinese cough mixtures.
But I'm really tired. The rest with Gilmore Girls has made me feel really restless now. All the mind is left to think about now is how I can speak like a Gilmore and live in Stars Hollow. Not forgetting having something to do with Logan. :D Hahaha.
I've also been thinking about how I've not bought the computer magazine for an incredibly long time. Thanks to the printers that busted my bank accounts and gracefully emptied my wallet. Very nice. And it's going to be another round of it this term until I break for my Australia getaway. I'm definitely not shopping till then. Although I don't want to take my expectations too high just in case it ends up like another Hong Kong trip where I unbelievably returned with absolutely nothing. Don't want to be reminded of it, no.
I attended a wedding on sat. And have you ever wondered where all the pictures taken with the bride and groom go to?
I've never received any despite having attended so many weddings in my entire life and yes, they all had the same organised photo-taking session in between meal times. Come to think of it, if I were to receive all of them now, it'd probably make a good follow through of my growing up. Hahaha.

It's about time..
I feel as though I've been suppressing it for a long time and its finally out it full force.
But.. it shouldn't be H1N1, right? :|
Maybe its a sign that I've been working too hard. Hahahaha. And not forgetting staying up late late late.. which my parents have constantly nagged at me about.
And now, its my only chance to get some really good rest.
Just stay at home and listen to cars driving by, screeching bus wheels and inconsiderate drivers getting horned at.. maybe some f*cked up bo liao idiots playing with their bicycle HORN. Yes, horn. They !@#$%^&* installed a horn on their bicycle so that they can annoy the entire neighbourhood with it. Very nice people, huh?
But it would be perfect if stay-home holiday comes with Gilmore Girls. I wouldn't want to leave home..
:D Maybe I should go rent it later. Hahaha. Only I hope I don't end up paying the rental with my mucus. HEE.
I'm flying to Australia at the end of the year. Literally the end of the year actually.
I'll be back just in time for the new year's countdown. Woohoo!
Think it was a pretty impulsive act.. YC was supposed to come with us to assure the safety of and protect the two highnesses.. :D But that's not going to happen.

Ahh.. the air of a one-week break indeed smells different.

Cause.. I have finally reached the point where.. im down to one bloody assignment which fyi, im really doomed for tmr cos i have barely anything to show to my lecturer.
But I don't wanna think about that now. I just completed two other assignments and let me show you the awesome things i've done okay!

But since I've been such a good girl, carrying a load of goods on my tinyyy little shoulder, holding a super ultra light weight macbookpro on one arm, using the other hand to hold on to the strap of my bag so it won't hurt my tinyyy little shoulder.. guess i deserve a little break.

Before I start on my work, let me just complain a little.
After school, i wanted to print my cover for my catalogue and have it perfect binded.
If you have no idea what perfect bind is, go google.
Anyway, the usual print shop i go to dont do it.. so i walked over to bras basah, which fyi, has tons of print shops.
The first couple told me they dont do perfect bind.. okay..
walked to the next few, they told me to go to this other shop, and this other shop and oh this other shop. so like a fool, i went to one shop by one shop asking if they did perfect bind.
Finally, i ended up at the last shop, only to be told that the whole building doesnt do perfect binding.

Just a few days ago, i was at mcdonalds and ordered mcflurry with extra oreo.so i was waiting at the next counter and happened to be watching this young malay girl attending to my order.
after stirring the cream and oreo together, she had this 2 sec of lost moment.
so.. my dear singaporeans, proud patrons of mcdonalds, frequent ice cream consumers, we all know that a mcflurry is tasty though it is only a combination of icecream and oreo..
but who would have known.. that this smart fella.. had to add HOT FUDGE in the McFLURRY!
Not the worse part.
When i questioned her if she added hot fudge into the mcflurry, she looked completed oblivious to my question, like she didnt know what hot fudge is at all.
so the cashier that attended to me clarified my order, and she got it right.
the order is right, but the girl who made my mcflurry isn't!
the floor manager happened to be around too, so she came by and asked me what the matter is.
told her the girl added hot fudge into my mcflurry WHICH I DIDNT ASK FOR.
and when the manager asked the girl if she added hot fudge into it..
SHE GAVE A RIDICULOUSLY CLUELESS LOOK AND SAID "HUHH?"
WHA LAO EH!
AND THEN SHE WALKED AWAY NOT KNOWING AT ALL WHAT SHE JUST DID TO M
PIG!
Young girl, you ought to go to school.
It's the kind of feeling where I feel like lying face up on a single seated sofa, legs apart and lazily rested on the ground, hands dangling out from the chair with a face that reads.. "I've completely resigned to fate. Give me a break, will you?"
I'm not even at my stressed up point. Its just that I keep going on doing the same thing over and over and over and over and over (okay you get the point) again.. that.. it makes me feel like i need a huge bean bag to rest my butt in.
Doesnt matter anymore if I'm making sense or not. I'm tired.
I shouldn't even be blogging now. I don't have time!
In 3 !@#$%*& weeks, I need to hand in some bloody !!@#$$%^&* visual identity brochure or catalogue or whatever you call that !@#$%^&* thing.
Will I be able to make it this time?

I think I might not need an alarm anymore.
and for two days, i slept before 10pm and woke at 12am plus plus..
struggled back to sleep at about 3am++
AND STILL CAN WAKE AT 7AM++!!!
does the temperature changes at like 7 plus plus in the morning?
but I'm not complaining.. cos when my body alarm wakes me at 7++, I don't exactly feel tired.. unlike being awoken by my phone alarm.
I need to get ready for school now.

Just woke up not long ago from my super nap. And it's only the first week of the term. :|
I actually started sketching some ideas last night and this morning for the newly assigned project which hasn't exactly been officially given to us. But I thought I should pen them down first, since my memory cant be trusted.
Yesterday, class started at 10 and ended at 11.30.
There was little we could do with only 5 students in class. HAHA.
J.'s in Taiwan now. And can you believe his luck, he saw Thomas Ong, and they were taking the same flight. DAMN IT. Why can't he appear in front of the people who adores him, PEOPLE LIKE ME. HAHA.
AND PEOPLE! WATCH PUBLIC ENEMIES WHEN ITS SHOWING OKAY! MY HUSBAND (JOHNNY DEPP) IS ACTING IN IT.
It looks really awesome, plus he'll be a bad guy in the show. Can I drool already? HAHA.
